Size Charts, Belt Placement, and Belt Tying Guide

Download this for everything you need to know when placing an order for uniforms, sparring gear, how to tie your belt, and where to place patches on your uniform.

Korean Terminology

One of the great benefits of training in Tang Soo Do is the opportunity to learn a little bit about another culture. You will see this in everything we do – from the way we bow to each other, treat our training hall and uniforms, to many other areas, including the language we use. Since we practice a Korean martial art, it is important for students to be able to translate techniques and terms from their native language to the Korean language.

The above download contain over 150 selected terms which all students will eventually understand and be able to use. Don’t worry, you don’t have to learn it all at once! We will introduce these terms in class as your rank requires, and will become very natural to you as you continue to use them.
